The new Tacombi location in Downtown New York involved the gut-renovation and exterior redesign of an ground floor retail space at the corner of Broad Street and Marketfield Street. The facade design takes its cues from the historic facade, with custom metal banding above the entrance doors. The 100-seater restaurant includes a large dining area with open bar and kitchen, new doors along Marketfield street that will activate the otherwise quiet alley and new custom steel doors along Broad street. The existing floor was salvaged along with other interior details. New hand painted graphic signage on the interior and exterior complete the design overhaul.
