The new Chelsea location for The Grey Dog involved the gut-renovation and exterior redesign of an ground floor space on W 26th Street in Chelsea. The new space includes a seating area with a fireplace, bar area, bathrooms and open kitchen. The exisitng space - originally a lobby for the residential complex - was completed gutted and outfitted to built out a new restaurant. The finishes include new wood floors, exposed concrete columns, wood paneling and beams on the ceiling. The existing revoling and entrance doors were removed and new metal and glass doors that open out to the sidewalk were installed.
