Located on the 20th floor in a 1920’s art deco style building, the apartment has beautiful southern exposure and views to central park. The three-bedroom two-bathroom apartment was redesigned to open up the space, accentuating the views from the apartment.
The entire kitchen and maid’s room area was opened out to create a large spacious kitchen. A new powder room/laundry room was added. A custom designed and built feature wall along the living room allows light to penetrate the entry foyer. Matching custom designed metal pocket doors open out from the living room to the kitchen and bedroom/study. Existing steel frames and doors were stripped down to expose the cold rolled steel and all existing steel casement windows were refurbished. The existing herringbone patterned wood flooring was restored.
